We added a new way for you to manage your schedule. We call it Flex Time.
It is now easy to take the day off, or even open up a day that you typically don’t work.
The image below illustrates how you might open up one Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
Works Hours
We also made it much easier to adjust your overall work hours. You can now do this directly from your calendar.
That’s it. Easy.
Is it possible to have custom messages sent out under specific dates?
We’d like to send messages to our customers with the address locations of our offices from our calendar but we only have one google calendar and 3 different Locations; We currently use apptoto and it needs keywords to send custom messages but to solve this feature it would require one calendar per location.
If your tool could send custom messages based on specific times of the week that would solve our problem.
e. g.:
On Tuesday- Messages would go out using our Stamford-CT Location
On Thursdays – Messages would go out using our Montclair-NJ Location
On Friday Mornings – Messages would go out using our Montclair-NJ Location
On Friday Afternoon – Messages would go out using our Teaneck-NJ Location
Can you help us?
Thanks,
Victor and Christine

Hi Victor and Christine,
It sounds like you need to support multiple locations. Schedulista can accommodate that — although we would also require you set up a separate calendar per location. Once you have that set up, appointment confirmations and reminders will have the appropriate location information in them.
I hope this answers your question. If not, feel free to email us at support@schedulista.com.
Can customers request times rather than booking? For example, could they request two or three times, pending approval of one of them by the service provider?
Hi Ross,
Thanks for the question.
No. This is not possible with our product.
The idea with Schedulista is that you have your availability up-to-date and clients can schedule directly. It saves you time. It saves them time. Folks are much more likely to book a real appointment rather than asking for availabilities with additional backs and forths.
I understand this doesn’t work well for all businesses. But, our focus is on direct scheduling.
I hope this helps!
It would be great if we could list multiple start/end times per day so that we can close off someone’s schedule during lunch or allow them to work split shifts. I would love an advanced setting that allows me to create the following availability hours, for example:
Monday: 9am-12, 2-5pm, 7-9pm
* note, I am setting up Schedulista for a single person company. They are really interested in being able to split their schedule since they can’t be available all the time but want to offer a good combination of hours that are good for them as well as popular for their clients. Thus a split schedule feature becomes really interesting in this case.
Hi Luke,
Good suggestion. At this point we’ve opted to have just a single range.
You can accomplish what you want by blocking out time on the calendar (e.g. lunch from 12-2) by using a personal appointment. If you want the same schedule every day, you can have the appointment repeat, e.g. Lunch repeats Monday through Friday from 12 until 2pm.

Is it possible to have a capacity for each session? For instance, what if from 9-10 we have a drop-in session that up to 5 people can attend.
Hi Megan,
Yes we have this. See:

I have 2 treatment rooms. Can I schedule 2 appointments at the same time?
Hi UyenHai,
Are you a single practitioner with two rooms? If so, you should use just a single calendar and make your appointments shorter in duration. E.g. if you offer a 60-minute acupuncture treatment, then you can set them to be 30-minutes on your calendar and schedule them every 30-minutes.
If you have multiple practitioners, then you should set up a separate calendar for each practitioner.
