Clients can choose their own time zone

We’ve added a new feature that allows clients to see appointment times in their own time zone.

In the screenshots below, you can see what this looks like in the client scheduler.

Once a client chooses a time zone,  emails and text messages will also show the preferred time zone.

The client record will be updated. And client time zone preferences can be viewed and modified by the business owner (screenshot below).

  1. I had a client book an appointment with me for 6:00. When she got her reminder it says it’s for 4:00. When I look at my calendar it says 4:00. So when I asked her to look at her email confirmation (original one) it says 6:00. But 6:00 CDT. We are in British Columbia so it should be PST. I need to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Please help :). Thanks

    • Hi Shelly,

      Thank you for your question.

What your client is looking at isn’t actually part of the email, it’s an automatically generated notice from Google asking the client if they want to add that appointment to their Google calendar. If the client looks below this, they will see the Schedulista email with the appointment time in the correct time zone. Google is just sensing that your client has an appointment and it is converting the appointment time to the timezone that their Google calendar is set to. Your client can correct this by setting their Google calendar to the correct time zone.
